The *Rivista Italiana di Musicologia*, founded in 1966 as the official journal of the Italian Society of Musicology, is a peer-reviewed periodical that publishes essays, articles, reviews and bibliographical information covering all the main historical and thematic areas, methodologies and trends in contemporary musicology. It is supported by a scientific committee and a network of international consultants. It accepts contributions in both Italian and English.
To coincide with the publication of volume 50/2015 of the Rivista Italiana di Musicologia, the SIdM is pleased to announce that ANVUR has promoted the journal to Class A in its classification of scientific journals.
The Rivista Italiana di Musicologia is published in both print and online formats.

Submit Proposals
Manuscripts, not exceeding 80,000 characters (including spaces), must be submitted electronically to direzioneridm@sidm.it, drafted in accordance with the journal’s editorial guidelines, and must be accompanied by two abstracts, one in Italian and one in English, of approximately 1,500–2,000 characters each (including spaces). Submitted articles are reviewed by at least two anonymous referees, whose assessment is communicated in writing to the authors.
