An editorial project of the Società Italiana di Musicologia, curated by Marco Mangani and Francesco Rocco Rossi and published by LIM – Libreria Musicale Italiana. The series consists of 20 concise pocket-size volumes designed specifically for non-specialist readers wishing to explore the many facets of musical experience. It is divided into four series, devoted respectively to: 1) “Musical Notation”, 2) “Musical Instruments”, 3) “Music with Words”, 4) “Music without Words”.
